Audiology Unit

The Hearing Unit specializes in several tests such as middle ear analysis (Tympanometry), pure-tone (Audiometry), and Oto-acoustic emission; these are important tests needed to determine the children’s hearing level and middle ear condition. According to the test results, parents are contacted, and the child’s case is referred to ENT doctors for checkup and further tests if needed. Once the medical report is received and we are informed of any hearing problems, the class teacher is notified about the child’s condition and given instructions on how to deal with his/her specific case.
